A look back at 2011 - A GREAT TIME
Another Great Season at the Dolphin
2011 was a great season at the Dolphin! Prior to opening weekend there were an abundance of upgrades made to the facility. These upgrades included a portable pump, new filters, 16 mirrors, new plumbing and new heater in ladies room, water fountain, 3 freezers, new fryer oven connection and other kitchen equipment, ac in the snack stand, new designer tile and coping in adult pool, 3 new grills, new honey comb playground equipment, arcade room, mounted lightning sector, new tables and umbrellas, surveillance cameras, swipe card system, new sound system, wifi, gift shop items such as swim diapers and 100 new life jackets including 6 handicap acceptable jackets. These improvements have allowed the club to service an average of 1,000 people per day and more than double that on the weekends. Also, we had several parties each weekend that ranged from 25 guests to 1200 for our township sports organization picnics. We acquired over $21,000 dollars in guest fees alone.
The Dolphin had a total of 572 memberships. People joined from all over the region from areas such as Feasterville, Holland, Philadelphia and Bensalem to areas from New Jersey and members explained their top reasons for joining. They enjoyed the heated adult pool, friendly and efficient staff, snack bar choices, new swipe card system, spot selection and the many activities that were offered. We added four new activity coordinators to run activities like spa day, organized games, campfire, scavenger hunts, aquacize, the 2nd of July event, new game room and our movies under the stars. Don’t forget the free use of the skate park and free tennis lessons included with each membership. Not only did members get to use these amenities but three township camp programs are held at the Dolphin as well. More than 600 campers utilized the Dolphin each day. Some camp fees go to help support the Dolphin and its maintenance.
As we end a wonderful season at the Dolphin many members and visitors have made many friends and got to be a part of the many wonderful things to do at the Dolphin. We look forward to continuing its success and strive to continue making it better for the future.

Our Township Swim Club
There is something for everyone at the Dolphin! The Dolphin Swim Club has always been and will continue to be one of the areas’ premiere swim clubs.
Established in 1956 as a family oriented co-op swim club and then transferred to township ownership in 2001, the Dolphin is run by the Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors and is operated by the township’s Parks and Recreation Director.
It is lined with mature trees, beautifully landscaped grounds, picnic groves, activity center and newly updated swimming pools that are heated. We offer eight full tennis courts, full basketball courts, boccie ball, volleyball, a sodded soccer field, lighted 40 foot baseball field, inside activity center where you can play ping pong or a game of cards, horseshoes and portable disk golf to name a few of the clubs amenities.
The Dolphin Swim Club’s amenities are a cut above the rest. The Dolphin Swim Club offers members and guests many organized children’s activities, as well as, aquacize classes, on-site swim lessons, snackbar, accommodations for parties, themed days and so much more. It's the perfect place to hold your next family reunion, picnic, birthday party or a place to just go and relax in the sun! There are reasonable membership rates for families, individuals and senior citizens, and members may also invite guests for the day for a nominal fee. Where else can you get all this? 2012 Dolphin Swim Club Lunch Program
This year at the Dolphin Swim club we are introducing a new option for a daily lunch program. At $2.64 per day it provides a cheaper and healthier alternative for lunch, saving each family on average $100.00 per season. It is available for $119.00 per camper for the whole season. Full payment for the lunch program must be received by May 28, 2012.
**The lunch program is not available for the extended week from August 20-24 **

If you are not already registered, click “new user registration”
Sign up for a new user account
After the account is created, log in with username and password
For state, choose “Pennsylvania” and for recreation provider choose “Lower Southampton Parks and Recreation”
Click “Browse Activities”
For theSearch by option select “2- Season and Activity” andselect the season as “Summer 2012”
Select “Lunch program”
Click Search
Select the lunch program and click “yes”
Fill out registration form and click “Continue”
Review order and click “Go to payments”
Fill in credit card information and click “continue”
